Components of a Drum Set
Bass Drum: This large, deep drum produces a low, booming sound and is played with a pedal. It serves as the backbone of the rhythm, providing a strong foundation for various musical styles.

Snare Drum: Known for its sharp, cutting sound, the snare drum is essential for backbeats in many genres, particularly in rock and pop. It features metal wires (snares) stretched across the bottom head, which create a distinctive crack when struck.

Tom-Toms: These cylindrical drums come in various sizes, typically categorized into rack toms (mounted above the bass drum) and floor toms (larger, placed on the floor). Each tom adds a different pitch and tone, enhancing the drum set’s melodic capabilities.
